I’m Back From Venice, and I’ve Got Lots of Photos To Share

Buongiorno, everybody! I’m back from an amazing (and quite yummy) week in Venice, where I was leading a travel photography workshop, along with long exposure photography expert Mimo Meidany. This is why I was…well…so lame here on the blog last week.

I put some of my favorite images from the workshop together, along with the story and behind-the-scenes shots, in a Spark Page.

Here’s the link if you’ve got a sec: https://spark.adobe.com/page/1iHJGY3Gku9Es/

Thanks in advance for checking it out (and I hope you’ll share it if you do).

I’ll be back on my blogging schedule next week now that I’m back, and until then, here’s wishing you an awesome weekend!

Ciao, ciao!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing, Scott. I wish I could have made that trip, but my wife and I arrive in Venice two weeks from today on prior plans. Based upon the sage advice in your “shooting in Venice” video, I am ready for the assignment!

(Venice is “my” city for photography — the rest of the trip belongs to my wife, and I’ll have to sneak in the photography with her approval.)

Love KelbyOne, and recommend it all the time.

  2. Could you do a comparison of Adobe spark vs exposure.co. They seem very similar in results and as an exposure user I’m wondering if there is any benefit to switching.

As always, I enjoy your stories.

Normally, I’d be jealous of your trip to Venice, but as I write this I’m in Paris, n so not so much.

    • As an Exposure.co and Adobe Creative Suite user, I’d very curious as well about this comparison.

  4. Bellissimo! I’ll be heading there in the near future. I have already watched your class on photographing Venice twice on Kelbyone. Too bad this newer class you filmed while you were there won’t be relased before I go. But, you’ve already given me some tips.! Grazie!!

  5. Beautiful shots Scott. Fisheye lens I assume?

    • No fisheyes – mostly my 16mm-35mm but for a few shots I borrowed Mimo’s 11-24mm ultra wide angle.
