Lightroom Presets

Presets – Wedding Fantasy

Happy Monday folks. I’ve got two things for you today.

• First, if you’re into that whole-spend-money-online-like-crazy thing called Cyber Monday, NAPP came out with some pretty killer deals. Now, remember I work for NAPP so I know what the prices and things normally are. I gotta say, if you’re into anything that’s on this list then they really are some killer deals so take advantage today if you’re thinking of buying anything.

• Next, more presets. I know I’ve been a little slow on the presets thing lately but I gotta say… coming up with new presets is hard as heck these days. I try to only come up with presets that I use or effects that I have used and I’ve pretty much gone through my library. That said, I came up with another one that I see a lot lately in wedding and engagement photos. Its got that ultra saturated bright look with lots of vignetting to it. Hope you enjoy!

• One more thing. I’ve got another preset lined up for next week. Its yet to be named but I figured I’d give you a sneak peak. Any name ideas then let me know 🙂

To install:
1) Unzip the preset zip file on to your desktop
2) Go to the Develop module. NOTE: YOU MUST BE THE DEVELOP MODULE
3) Go to the Presets panel on the left. Right click anywhere in it and choose Import.
4) Select the .lrtemplate files you unzipped in Step 1 and click Import NOTE: DO NOT IMPORT THE ZIP FILE

• Click here to download the presets
• Click here to see a sample of the preset.

    Matty K.—-
I have loved all your tutorials both here and P/S TV—and your books have helped me loads—but I must say-the video on 12/2 on The Adjustment Brush was super. That tool came alive for me. A lot of guys have mastered P/S and LR but you are also a gifted teacher….don’t ever underestimate that. This is coming from a retired doctor who taught for 30 years—You have enhanced my retirement years in ways that go far beyond a mere Thank You. Keep up the great work buddy.

How about “Sweet Sepia” or “Sepia Sweetness” for next week’s plugin?

Matt, thanks for your hard work and all you do.

Next weeks preset looks exquisite….thinking the name might be “Angels Kiss” dont ask me why just subliminal from the fact that you have the two bridesmaids kissing the bride I guess.

Oooo. I kinda like Day Dreamin’
I was really joking about the High Kloskowski name 🙂
And I hope whoever suggested Creamy Dream was joking too, well, because… eh… I’m just not goin’ there
    😉

    I like Creamy Dream…

A suggestion for another topic… I was also wondering if you would share the secret, if there is one, to getting the look of porcelain/hi-key skin while maintaining the dynamic range of rest of the photo in post-production – especially when converting to black & white.

    Thanks!

    Hi Matt
    Love your Presets work.

How about “Fantasepia” – maybe too much like your wedding fantasy
but I just thought it would be fun to play with the word fantasy and Sepia – since when I saw the way you had added the effect I got this kind of fantasy dream world thought in my mind.
