This Week on The Grid: New Lightroom Features with Terry White
This week on The Grid, Scott Kelby and Erik Kuna welcomed Terry White for a look at some of the latest Lightroom features arriving as Adobe MAX approaches.
Terry demonstrated Prompt to Edit in Lightroom Desktop, including an impressive example where he restored and colorized an old family photo using a series of prompts. He also showed Open Eyes, which can use reference photos from your own library to fix a shot where someone blinked, and Animate, a Lightroom mobile feature that can turn a still photograph into a short video.
With new features appearing across different versions of Lightroom, Terry also broke down what’s currently available in Lightroom Desktop, Lightroom Classic, and Lightroom mobile. He explained which features are still in Early Access, how generative credits come into play, and some of the current limitations to keep in mind.
There’s a lot happening in the Lightroom world right now, and this episode is a great way to see some of these new tools in action and get a clearer picture of where you can actually use them.
