Layers, Photoshop World and Lightroom

It’s that time of the year again. Photoshop World in Orlando is getting closer (April 2, 2008) and I’ll be teaching both Photoshop and Lightroom there. If you’ve never been to a Photoshop World then you’re missing out on a killer learning experience. It’s where the world’s top Photoshop instructors get together and share everything they know about Photoshop. And it’s fun and you’ll meet a ton of great people. A couple of things:

– First, my Layers pre-conference session is rapidly selling out. Last time in Vegas, it was one of the first pre-cons to totally sell out so make sure you sign up soon if you’d like to go. In a nutshell, it’s for those who’d like to wrap their heads around the layers concept in Photoshop and really start using them to their full potential to make your work easier and more creative.

– Next, I’m teaching two Lightroom sessions there. The first is an overall Lightroom workflow from start to finish. From importing all the way through to printing. The second one is a brand new session called “Photoshop and Lightroom – Connecting the Dots”. There I’ll cover where/when we use Lightroom and where/when we use Photoshop and how they fit together.

– Finally, other experts like Jeff Schewe, Andrew Rodney, Tim Grey and Kevin Ames will all be teaching in the Lightroom track and they’ve got some great stuff planned as well.

Registration is open and you’ll save $100 bucks if you register early so get on it. You can click here to go to the site and check it out for yourself. Hope to see you there! Don’t forget to check out the next post for this week’s video.
