This Week on The Grid: Hard Truths & Hot Takes

This week on The Grid, Scott and Erik delivered one of those episodes that’s equal parts insight and opinion—in the best way.

They kicked things off with a look at finalists from the recent Lightroom Conference photo contest, along with some standout shots from Erik’s time at the Sun ’n Fun Air Show, including a creative take on light painting with an iPhone.

From there, things got interesting.

Scott and Erik dove into some honest (and sometimes spicy) takes on photography gear and workflow—touching on everything from the Leica “weight” debate to PC vs. Mac performance in Lightroom (including a surprise call from Adobe’s Terry White). They also weighed in on JPEG vs. RAW, and why bringing Photoshop into your workflow can open up a whole new level of control.

It’s a fun, opinionated episode packed with real-world perspective—and a few takes that might just challenge how you’re doing things now.

Watch the replay below and see where you land.
