Last Week on The Grid: Photoshop World 2026 Sneak Peek

Last week on The Grid, Scott Kelby and Erik Kuna welcomed Photoshop World instructors Lisa Carney, Rob Sylvan, and Karen Hutton for a sneak peek at what they have planned for this year’s conference, happening September 14–17.

For Lightroom users, Rob shared a preview of his sessions focused on one of the topics that seems to confuse photographers the most: the Lightroom Classic catalog. He talked about simplifying your catalog workflow, understanding where your photos actually live, and getting organized so Lightroom works with you instead of against you.

Lisa Carney brought AI into the conversation, sharing how she’s incorporating tools like Adobe Firefly into real-world retouching workflows, while Karen Hutton explored the more creative side of photography and what makes certain images connect with us emotionally.

Scott also put Photoshop’s generative AI through its paces in a live demo, Erik shared tips for photographing a lunar eclipse, and the crew even got to check out some brand-new Photoshop features that dropped during the show.

It was a fun preview of what’s coming at Photoshop World 2026, sponsored by Adobe, with plenty of useful tips mixed in.
