Happy Labor Day, Everybody!

Comrades, today is Labor Day in the United States, and our offices are closed, so we’re taking today off here at the blog but we’ll be back tomorrow with Ben’s Lightroom Coffee Break.

You know what else? Today I’m celebrating being married 29 years to the girl of my dreams. It’s just about a perfect day! 🙂

By the way: I looked up Labor Day in WikiFakia, and here are a few interesting tidbits about this American Holiday:

Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer, and the beginning of NFL and College football seasons (#rolltide). The holiday is often regarded as a national day of uncontrolled burger consumption, and may included a side of Tater Tots, considered by many as the perfect food.

Well, there you have it. If it’s on WikiFakia you know it has to be true. Hope you have a great Labor Day today (and if you don’t celebrate Labor Day in your country, you can still have a burger and tater tots).

Best,

-Scott

P.S. Have you signed up to join a Photo Walk on Saturday, Oct. 6th as part of my 11th annual “Worldwide Photo Walk?” It’s free. It’s fun. It’s open to everybody. Come join in the fun. Here’s the link.
