This Week on The Grid: Blind Photo Critiques Part Two

The photos kept coming, so this week’s episode of The Grid delivered Part Two of Blind Photo Critiques. Scott and Erik worked through another round of viewer-submitted images, covering a wide range of subjects including wildlife, travel landscapes, aviation composites, and portraits.

As always, the critiques were honest, practical, and aimed at helping photographers improve. Scott and Erik discussed composition, timing, lighting, and post-processing choices, highlighting simple changes that could make a significant impact.

Along the way, Scott shared a surprisingly practical perspective on AI in photography, while Erik demonstrated how thoughtful cropping and the use of long-exposure ND filters can completely transform an image. The episode also included a look at Scott’s new Travel People portfolio category and a preview of the upcoming Photographing People Conference.

And because no Grid episode is complete without it, there was also an important discussion involving Chili’s spicy chicken sandwich.

Watch the replay below and see what lessons you can apply to your own photography.
