Win a Free Ticket To The Lightroom 4 Live Seminar in June

In a few weeks I’ll be taking my Lightroom 4 Live seminar tour from Kelby Training out to a few more cities. First I head to Washington DC, then on to Lansing Michigan, Richmond, and San Francisco. If you’ve been wanting to finally figure out how to work Lightroom into your photography this is a fantastic chance to come out and learn it from the ground up. I updated the workbook for Lightroom 4 (yes, you get a workbook with everything so you don’t have to scribble notes the whole day). It gave me the chance to go through and tweak/add all those little things that I found gave people trouble the last time I taught the seminar with Lightroom 3. Plus I added all of the new stuff for Lightroom 4 (like the new Books module and all the new Develop module sliders). Judging from the experience I had last month while kicking off the seminars in several cities, people are more excited than ever about Lightroom.

Okay, now that all the promotional tour pimping is out of the way, I wanted to give you a chance to win a free ticket to the seminar. So here’s the deal. Leave a comment with the city you’d like to attend the seminar in (here’s the dates of all the seminar stops) and I’ll pick 1 winner for each city later today.

Washington DC: Monday June 11th
Lansing, MI: Tuesday June 12th
Richmond: Thursday June 14th
South San Francisco: Monday June 18th

Here’s the link to find out more about the entire day and sign up. Good luck and I hope to see you there! Oh and as always, if you are attending make sure you come up and say hi. I had so many people come up just to say hi at the seminars last month and I gotta tell ya, it never gets old. Thanks! 🙂

I’m all in for the seminar in San Francisco. Living across the bay it’s nice to have one of these close to home. Having just started out using LR4 as my intro to Lightroom I could sure use some tips from a pro!

    San Francisco ;D
Never tried lightroom before and just began photography last year. Going to college in the fall & taking a few courses on photography. That class can help me very much ! 🙂

I need to take my photography to the next level and need this seminar to get me started or I may choose another software path. Looking forward to Richmond if I can go and start the lightroom journey. I feel a Lightroom edge could help this photographer get one step closer to awesome photos in a inevitable digital world. Everyone is a photographer now, so there must be some lines to separate those that get lucky from those that are just plain good.

Matt, I attended your Lightroom 3 session in Seattle. Talked so much about it my wife said she wants to go to the next one. Lightroom 4 seminar coming to Seattle?

Hey Matt – I’d love to add my name to the list of people wanting to get a ticket to the Lansing, MI seminar! I’m currently a UF graduate student, but the ticket wouldn’t be for me. Instead it would be for a retired friend who I met while birding/photographing. She’d taken so many wonderful images, but had never used Lightroom/Photoshop before. I taught her Lightroom a couple of times a week in exchange for some home-made cookies (delicious cookies I might add). Well, she’s back home in Michigan and I know that your seminar would be a great gift to her 🙂 Let me know if there is anything you can do! Thanks 😀

So I’d have to drive 500 miles to SFO to attend LR4 with Matt, but hey I’d drive 5000 miles to attend LR4 with Matt. Count me in.

I’d love to attend the San Francisco seminar. When you come, be sure to dress for cold weather. Remember, summer is actually “winter” in SF.

Washington, DC is 60 miles from me, but surely I’d hop on my horse and ride over for a chance to learn some awesome Lightroom knowledge. I’m sure they’ll let me park the horse somewhere

This would be my first photography seminar of any type so I’d be very excited for the opportunity! Lansing’s my location!

I’d like to attend the Lansing, MI workshop. I loved your Lightroom 3 book. It took me to places I only imagined. It really helped me in immeasurable ways.

I’d love to go to the Lansing, MI, day. I’m at that point where I need some help getting to the “next level” and I think this would really help me. Currently unemployed, so money is an issue, but thanks for the many ways to get your coaching, from the magazines to the books, I’ve read them all.
