We spent 9 days there with the whole family (it was just a vacation—no work) at our kid’s favorite place – Tokyo, and this was our best trip there yet!
I shared some of my favorite shots from the trip using Adobe Express:
Here’s the link if you’ve got a sec. Hope you can stop by and check them out.
Right now, I’m in Vegas
My workshop here, with my co-instructor Erik Kuna, kicks off tomorrow, where 12 photographers from all over will get together for a week of learning, laughing, and lunching (not necessarily in that order). Our first stop tonight – is dinner at Carmine’s (the same folks behind the one on W44th and Broadway in NYC), but this one’s in the Caesar’s Palace Forum Shops. What a great way to kick off the workshop!
That all from here – thanks for letting me share my trip(s) with you!

I was often in Tokyo on business, which was several years ago. Nice to see it again. Fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Fantastic photos Scott! And really 24mm at the widest? Was a tripod allowed?
Hi, Rudi. Thanks for the kind words.
I only took one lens—my 24-240mm RF—but there were a couple of occasions when I used my iPhone, like the second shot of the rectangular spiral staircase, where I used the iPhone’s .5x wide-angle lens (approximately 14mm). I noted which ones above were taken with my iPhone.
Thanks Scott. Yeah, I saw which ones were shot with iPhone. Only the result counts, not the cam as showed. I was just curious about the lower end.
Beautiful place and great photos, as always! Thanks for sharing.
I loooove Tokyo too!
Thank you M. -A. Tokyo is awesome!
