Love new presets! Thanks for sharing!
Hi, I just updated from 4.1 to 4.2 and now LR crashes after every first start. According to Adobe forum that is a problem many users have. I use Win 7 64bit. Have soneine similar problems? Thanks!
Hi matt, i love your videos easy to understand and follow
I just got a mbp. Are you able to do a video on best way to use lightroom on the road while travelling and transferring allthe photos and adjustments to my main catalog on my imac at home. Thank you
Matt:
Installed LR 4.2. Now when I g to CS5 from LR, it tells me I amy have may encounter problems in CS5 because it is looking for cameral raw 7.2. In cs5 I can’t update to 7.2. This is a similar problem with every update in LR4. Will these two programs ever be on the same page?
Matt, I fixed the typo in your otherwise excellent post. 🙂
A while back, Adobe made a release candidate available for Lightroom 4.2. So we knew the full release was coming soon and now it’s here. Tom Hogarty (Lightroom’s product manager) has a full list of what’s in this release but here’s the highlights:
– Some bug fixes (mostly things that I haven’t personally experienced)
– Support for new cameras in tethered capture (yes, the 1D X)
– Updated profiles for some new lenses
You can either go to the Help menu to check for updates to get 4.2 or hit Adobe’s website.
– Mac version
– PC version
Matt,
Can’t get Camera RAW 7.2 to load/update in Photoshop CS6 Extended. We download the NEW DNG 7/2 Converter but PS CS6 still says ACR is 7/1. Suggestions?
It took a while but I found the below on one of the Adobe sites:
For Mac:
http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/mac/PhotoshopCameraRaw7-7.0 /7.2.82/Setup.dmg
For Windows:
http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/win/PhotoshopCameraRaw7-7.0 /7.2.82/Setup.zip
Hope this helps.
Will the update be available to me since I purchased from the App store on my Mac?
Just install in the same directory
Is there any way to get it to actually update the existing install or is uninstalling the old version than installing the new version the only way to go?
Nope 🙂
