VIDEO: The Lightroom 5.5 Update and New Lightroom Mobile Features

If you haven’t seen yet, last week Adobe released a whole bunch of stuff for Creative Cloud users (full list and features and videos here). Among them was some updates for Lightroom like:
• Lightroom Mobile 1.1 (for the iPad)
• Lightroom Mobile 1.1 (for the iPhone)
• Lightroom 5.5 (Desktop version with camera and lens updates and support for the new LR Mobile stuff)

I did a quick 3 minute video for KelbyOne on their CC Resource Center page, but figured I’d post it here as well. And of course, if you want to see videos on any other Photoshop or other CC app updates, there’s a whole page with over 40 free videos right here. Enjoy!

  1. Matt, sounds like there’s nothing new to speak of in the desktop app. Mobile gets all the love. I couldn’t find anywhere a simple list of new features in the desktop app. On Adobe’s site there’s lots of mobile talk and the full list of all features in LR desktop, but if there’s any kind of summation of the new desktop features it’s awfully hard to find. Is there a link anywhere to that?

  2. Matt, What have you heard about all the issues people are having with Lightroom 5.5 Develop Module. My specific problems are with cropping and history although it seems there are a lot of other issues. By the way keep up the great work. Hope to see you in Kansas City soon.

    • Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text
in your content seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I thought
I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though!
Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Kudos
