I have used Photoshop Elements for years and have learned a great deal from your books covering its use. Have decided to add Lightroom’s additional capabilities, but am concerned the learning curve may be a little steep. Your book would be a big help, will keep my fingers crossed.

Dear Scott, I hope it is not too late to sign up for the free drawing for your book. I took a LR and CS6 class at the University of TN where the instructor referred to you many times as the Photoshop Guru….which is why I looked up your website and was so excited to join your group, become a member and take the classes. I was going to buy the $249 membership bundle this weekend; however, my Hubby sadly informed me Saturday that he was let go from his job….so you know the rest of the story. I have had a hard time using LR and Cs6 together and really need to learn how to connect the missing links and would love a chance to win your book. Hope my submission isn’t too late…I just found this area. My best wishes to you and your family.

I learned Photoshop first so Camera Raw …maybe that’s why I find the file handling in LR so awful. Beyond that, I swear the development team for LR have never met the guys who created the Camera Raw application. I’d love to see your suggestions for what LR users should know about Photoshop. Frankly, I think most photographers are intimidated by it and afraid to just try “this” or “that” slider to see what it does. Maybe that’s one of your suggestions, make a copy of the background file, then just go crazy on the layers above it.

Here is why I should win a signed copy of your book.

A.) I REALLY really want it. Like, REALLY want it. But if I don’t get a signed copy I’m not getting one at all. (Just kidding. I’ll totally order one from Amazon regardless.)
    2. I waited in line for, like, a REALLY long time at your STL Shoot Like a Pro seminar to have you sign my Jesus Thing book but your bearded assistant (nothin’ but love brother) cut off the line right before it was my turn. I cried for days. Well…maybe not days…
Lastly, the only thing I’ve ever won in my whole life was a florescent yellow “Nutra Flo Fertilizer” trucker’s hat at my post prom party 20+ years ago and I think I’m due for another win. You could help me with this.

    Thanks for your consideration.

I absolutely love your work. To win your book and even learn the smallest tip would help me immensely. I would love to have you as a tutor by my side.
    Cheers Anna

It was three years ago when I first heard of Scott Kelby and Kelby Training and at that time my photography world changed completely. After that I have learned a lot. Thanks Scott and greetings from Finland. I would love to have the book by the way 😉

Together with belgian author (publishing in english as well) Piet Van den Eynde, Scott Kelby is my prime source for all Lightroom work 🙂

Thank you for this opportunity Scott. This book would certainly enhance my meager Lightroom/Photoshop skills to a level unseen in my workflow.

Looks like a handy book to have..ooh/ooh Scott wrote it; the prior comment is redundant. Thanks Scott. Best to you and yours..simply couldn’t have learned what I know without your books. CPB

I’ve worn out my copy of LR5 for Digital Photographers and would love to take the extra step in post processing. Your books are the best.

My photography business is just starting to get off the ground. While I feel comfortable with my camera, lenses, and lighting equipment, I’m not so comfortable with my post-processing skills. It would be great to win this book! Thank you for the opportunity.

Scott, I bought a Canon 7D mark ii because you recommended it. And love it! Now I need help with lightroom and photoshop. Would love a book. Thanks.

I would love a copy. I’m a a photographer, not a graphis artist. I have Photoshop CS6 and don’t use it nearly to it’s full capacity because it’s pretty intimidating compared to Lightroom. So I tend to use it for very limited purposes when Lightroom can’t quite handle it. Your Kelby One videos help a lot, but it would be nice to have a reference book to supplement that training.

Winning this would be very very helpful. Thanks for doing it Scott, there will be 10 very happy photographers out there on Monday!

It would be really great to win since my sister keeps winning contests like this and I only win those free nights to a resort of my choice. 🙂

Gotta have the book! Heck, I just learned how to jump from Lightroom to Photoshop and back. 🙂 Who knows how much more I could learn with decent guidance.

  112. Scott Goss 28 November, 2014 at 13:41 Reply

    Scott,

First off, in the spirit of Thanksgiving I wanted to let you know how thankful I am of all of your tutorials and instruction that you provide on here as well as on KelbyOne.com. Your videos have been my source of encouragement to continue to learn more and do more with my camera and my imagination so THANK YOU. Second, we both share a pretty awesome first name. And third, I have SO MUCH yet to learn in Photoshop. This book would keep me busy for the next year, or until the next one comes out 🙂 Have a great weekend and let me know if you’re ever in the DC area!

When I started first with Digital Photography I was of the opinion that Post Processing was a Sin, unless I saw a video of Lightroom and my inhibitions were shattered, there was this subtle difference between Photoshopping something and using Lightroom for corrections and I got hooked. But I’m still somehow not very comfortable with Photoshop (so much so that the very mention of that name makes me think its about Faking something). Help me come out of this Inhibition and let me learn the benefits of Photoshop to enhance and add value to pictures please!

I would love the book, and signed by you for sure,
especially after the famous steam episode of PSUTV, I believe it’s episode 143

    Scott:

Thanks for this great offer. Perhaps this is a chance for me to realize one of my goals, i.e. integrating Photoshop into my editing skills. I’m stuck in Lightroom and I can’t get out!

Scott, the Facebook link at the top of this page links to some other Scott Kelby. Surely that catch earns me a book, right? 🙂

Had Lightroom for a while & have joined Creative Cloud so need all the help I can get with Photoshop. Looks like this would be a perfect way to get on.

I would love a copy of your book “”Photoshop for Lightroom Users”” I own a few of your Photoshop books and I love your style of writing. You are so humorous and explain things where a novice can understand.
