Website and News

Website:I found the coolest little website today. It’s not necessarily photography-specific, but I think it’s a great idea. It’s called and, by the sound of the name, you can pretty much guess what it does. It lists the sunrise and sunset times of some major cities around the world. However, you can go on and make your own calendar for your own cities. It even lists the moon rise/set times as well as the moon phases for all of you nocturnal folks out there. It’s pretty cool. Check it out here.

News:If you’ve downloaded the free 30-day trial of Lightroom early on, this one is for you. If you’re like me, this is what happens. You download the trial with every intention of previewing the software. Then, by a stroke of misfortune, life gets really crazy and you never really get to preview the software in that 30 days. If that happened to you, you’ll be happy to know that when Lightroom 1.1 came out in late June, Adobe reset the 30-day trial counter. So now you can go download the 30-day trial of Lightroom 1.1 and really put it through some testing. You can download the trial here.
