Photoshop World Update

Hi everyone. Just wanted to give a quick Photoshop World update for anyone going (or thinking of going). First, I’m teaching a pre-conference workshop on Photoshop Compositing with the awesome Glyn Dewis. We’ve teamed up for a 4-hour workshop where you’ll get to light, shoot and build your own composites while we’re there with you to help out. Plus, in order for me to get out of writing a huge 40 page workbook for the session, I convinced the powers-that-be to let me give away a free copy of my Photoshop Compositing Secrets book to everyone who signs up. Here’s the link for more info.

Also, I’ll be teaching two Lightroom classes. My boot-camp styled class called the Lightroom Crash Course which is a 1-hour class meant to get you up and running in Lightroom quickly. And an entire class on how I make my presets in Lightroom.

Finally, if you are going to Photoshop World make sure you stay where the instructors stay. I can’t tell you how much goes on in and around the actual conference hotel, and I really think it’ll be worth you staying there. If you don’t, you’ll end up driving somewhere late at night or, even worse, not hanging out with your fellow attendees and instructors because your hotel isn’t close.

Hope to see you there!

  1. That’s a super busy week and I’m not going to be able to make it this time, but I think you had a brilliant idea giving away copies of your book: that’s a win/win for you and the attendees. I really enjoyed your seminar in Atlanta last week! Thanks for all you do for Lightroom lovers. :)
