VIDEO: Smart Collection Tip on Automatically Sorting Your Photos

Yesterday, I wrote a post about 3 features that I’d love to see in Lightroom (but probably won’t). They’re 3 features that I think I’d use, but I’m not so sure the masses would and it would be worth the development effort on Adobe’s time. Well, as I wrote the post, I realized a way that I could sort of do one of the features I was looking for. See, I often import some photos in to Lightroom and just...

3 Features I Don’t Think We’ll Ever See in Lightroom (But I’d like to)

I’m sure we all have features we’d like to see in Lightroom (or lots of other programs too). And sometimes those features are so meaningful to us that we have no idea why everyone else doesn’t think so too. Well, my post is coming from a different place. The Top 5 Ways I Use My Wacom Tablet with Lightroom

Tip: Lightroom Tips and My Sky Replacement Tutorial

Last week, over at Kelby One, we did a free webcast for Photoshop World coming up in just over a month. We had videos and tutorials from lots of various Photoshop World instructors, and I jumped in to do a some quick Lightroom tips as well as a tutorial on replacing a not-so-great sky in landscape photos. Replacing the sky is one of those questions I hear about a lot. I’ll tell you up front, that in order for it to work, you...

Lightroom Plug-In: If You’re Looking For Film Effects, Check Out Alien Skin Exposure 6

Hey everyone. I keep getting asked about all of the Lightroom plug-ins out there, which is why (a while back) I created a plug-in category here on the site. One of the big areas I hear a lot about is film effects. Lately it seems that film effects have taken over the post-processing world. Look at the popularity of the VSCO Film presets for Lightroom (and many others that do something similar). Just about every photo app on the iPhone...
