The Butterfly Whisperer

Click here to see the full size image from a photo shoot I did over the weekend. Yep, it’s a butterfly and yep I really know how to party on the weekends don’t I? I thought I’d share my editing process. First… the shoot. I actually bought a couple Monarch butterflies from a website. I’d tried my hand at going to a butterfly garden but it didn’t turn out well, so I figured a more controlled...

Tip – Deleting Photos

The TipHere’s something that you’ll run into often – deleting photos. Website and News

Website:I found the coolest little website today. It’s not necessarily photography-specific, but I think it’s a great idea. However, you can go on and make your own calendar for your own cities. It even lists the moon rise/set times as well...

Friday Tip – Resetting Tone

If you’re working in the Develop module chances are you’ll be working with the Tone and Color settings in the Basic panel. Well if you ever want to reset your Tone or Color settings without resetting the changes to your whole photo (Cropping, etc…) try this. Hold down the Option/Alt key. When you do that you’ll see the words Reset Tone and Reset Color appear instead of Tone and Color above the sliders. Just...
