Lightroom Seminar in Fort Lauderdale, FL

I’ll be heading to Ft. Lauderdale next week for my 1-day Lightroom seminar for Kelby Training. I’m excited to show my new import strategy again, which was a big hit at my last seminar in Portland. Importing is always such a gray area for anyone just starting out, that I’m happy I found a different way to teach it and hopefully make it easier for everyone. Anyway, here’s the website to sign up and see the schedule for the day. If you’re in the Ft. Lauderdale area, I hope you’ll come join me for the day. It’s my first time teaching in south Florida and I promise it’ll be a great day and well worth it if you’re a Lightroom user. Hope to see you there!

  2. Thanks for a great workshop. Glad you got to go to your own home for a change after.

I have been using that ‘new’ import strategy for some time. It seems to take longer watching that little line cross the screen on the import when bringing them in right from the USB (USB 2.o btw) as opposed to directly into a portable drive folder through my Windows Exlporer than it did just getting LR5 to recognize the existing folder.

Thanks for getting me on track.
