This week I’m starting a 5 city tour of the Lightroom 3 Live seminar from Kelby Training. First I head to Phoenix, then on to Indianapolis, Tampa, Arlington and finally Philadelphia. This is an absolute fantastic chance to come out and learn Lightroom from the ground up. I even recorded a quick video about the day that you can watch below.
But… I wanted to give you a chance to win a free ticket to the seminar. So here’s the deal. Leave a comment with the city you’d like to attend the seminar in (here’s the dates of all the seminar stops) and I’ll pick 1 winner for each city later today.
HINT: I’m running a similar contest over on my Google+ page. If you add me to your circles and leave a comment on the post there, you could actually have two chances to win a ticket

Hey Matt, I have already purchased my ticket to your Indy seminar, but you can always hook me up with some goodies from the Kelby Training Store; I wouldn’t mind a copy of your Layers and Compositing books.
I would love to attend the Indianapolis seminar. It would be a chance to polish my (much needed) Lightroom skills on the images I captured in New England. Days spent in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire were not enough to get me to the level of a beginning Photoshop Guy.

I have been all over the place, begging, I think, for a ticket to your Phoenix , seminar., would love to attend with my daughter, we have been struggling with CS5 and still have the wrapper on the lightroom, learning here in Tucson is not easy unless you teach yourself , Would love if you would come to Tucson ,sometime!! Well, crap, whatda’ ya’ know….
I was the girl who made the ever so not nice comment on FB about how I wish I never woulda’ spent the money on LIGHTROOM3 because there wasn’t a single soul in my area who could help me get started with it (you commented on it).
Pffft! Well, there still isn’t. And while I’ve *cough* experimented with it all, (even spent a day with Kelby Boy going over it in St. Lucia prior to buying it), I’m pretty SURE it’s safe to say I’ve farked something up. Heck, I can’t even remove photos from it anymore.
While I’m 100% sure it’s user error, (I went really, really blonde over the summer), I’d like to think I got my money’s worth. If there is any chance in hell you have an extra ticket lying around that you’d LOVE to give away for this Friday’s class in Indy, I’d be happy to use it wisely. If not, I might have to sell my Kelby autographed LIGHTROOM3 book on e-bay to recoup some of my loss. GASP!

I’d really like to understand Lightroom more. I’ve messed around with Aperture and Lightroom before. I just feel there is more to Lightroom that I am missing. When you come to Philly, it’d be nice to be able to go.
