  • Great vid Matt, really enjoyed this one!

I think it gives a good taster of what the book offers, this book is a must have for me..

    Great video.

  • Nice vid, Matt. When it comes to the tonal contrast portion of my composites, I tend to prefer Topaz Adjust– but as you know, they do pretty much the exact same thing. Anyway, thanks for allowing us to look over your shoulder yet again, and I can’t wait for my copy of your book to arrive! :)

  • Great stuff Matt, very very cool. Would love to check out your book, compositing is something I’ve been wanting to practise more for a long time.

  • Great video! Just received your “Compositing” book yesterday. Can’t wait to get started with it. Are you planning on teaching a “Compositing” class at Photoshop World?

  • Thank you so much, the adjusting the exposure and the tonal contrast were excellent tips I am going to use often! Getting your book on Kindle tomorrow (payday). Thanks Matt for all the cool stuff. Looking forward to the Photowalk!

  • Great tutorial, Matt. Looks so easy when you do it. Can’t wait to get my book and try out some compositing.

  • Would love to buy the digital version, but it’s not in the Dutch iBookstore and I don’t know if I will be able to buy the Kindle-version (and use the kindle-app for iPad) from the Netherlands.
Will have to wait for the “real” book to hit the stores here and hope it’s price is ok

  • “‘sup, Matt?”

Love that scene in the promo video. ;-)

Gotta be honest, I don’t do compositing but watching the video (above and promo) and seeing the effects has me thinking of some projects. So you sold me! Thanks Matt.

  • Just bought the Kindle version… Just in time to composite something for Photoshop World.

  • You were right Matt, that video is really fun to watch! Video team did a great job. It made me want to buy the book, so I just ordered my book from B&N. Great deal because I had an extra 20% coupon and free shipping. Looking forward to a good read!

  • I just ordered the book from Kelby training! Will you sign my copy?

    Looking forward to it!

    :-)

    • Hi Ivan. Yep, I’m signing all copies ordered from KelbyTraining.com. Thanks so much! :)

  • Hey Matt,

Great tutorial! I’ll be honest I’ve been pretty slack with using smart Objects in my compositing….not from now on though ;)

  • Hey Matt,
Cool video. Definitely ordering the book. I’ve been doing a lot of compositing lately, for various different reasons, so it couldn’t be timed any better.
    All the best,
    Sean.

  • Wow, Matt! Great Tutorial! Can’t wait to get my pre-order signed copy! I actually have several composites I want to do, so I’m looking forward to getting the book!

  • Awesome tutorial, thanks Matt!

  • Great video Matt,
After watching it I REALLY want to get the book now. One question though, why is the book so much more expensive at the iBooks bookstore then it is for the hardcopy or the Kindle version at Amazon? Is the iBooks version better somehow??? If not please suggest that the powers that be do something about the price on the iBook store!

    • Hey Steve. Thanks. Ever wonder why macs are 30% more expensive than a PC? Because it has the Apple name on it :)
Probably the same thing here. Unfortunately the “powers to be” are Apple. They set the price – not us. Go for the Kindle version instead.

  • Thank Matt,

Book arriving from Amazon UK tomorrow. Going 2 be great!

  • Thanks, Matt. That was great. I learned a lot!

  • Nice refresher, Matt!

  • Fantastic video. Just received your book in the mail and can’t wait to pour through all the great tutorials.

  • I just ordered the book. It looks fantastic.

  • Hi Matt, great tutorial video. Bought the e-book version of your compositing book the other day via Peachpit and really enjoying it. Looking forward to trying a few projects with the advice / techniques therein.
