Video Tip – The Missing Filter Options
I decided to record a video for today’s tip because a) I started to write it out and realized it was a very difficult to put this one into words without lots of screen captures and, b) I’m lazy and a video was much easier. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

I owe you a beer.

Hi Matt,
Sorry for an offtopic. Please, could you make a video about “Compare mode”? I have to compare hundreds of photos in develop mode jumping from one foto to neighbor.
Thanks a lot.
Anton
Matt: This is a great tip! I have been using the drop-down menu next to the word all this time. I had no idea I could simply click the word to have all of the filters pop back up. Very Handy.
Cool tip. Thanks!
Great tip, thank you!
It always felt like trying to make coffee in someone else’s kitchen; where was that freaking filter again ??bkr@!!qitkk!!
Great tip. I use these filter a lot and I’ve run into situations where they were gone and I had no idea how to fix it. Thanks.
Matt, I’ve been wondering about this forever, thanks for the tip. Oh, also please don’t apologize for being “lazy” when you create a video. I for one prefer vlog posts over standard written blog posts anyway. You could go 100% video for all I care!
Thank you, thank you thank you! This has been driving me crazy. I feel so much more relaxed now.
Matt…finally broke out my Intuous4 tablet…tried to install your preferences but no go…wants to know what to open with????
I have double checked and erdone everything several times…won’t budge!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Me, too. Duhh. Ahh. Worth the price of admission.
Matt, thanks so much for this tip, I too was wondering how to get those filter items back. Also, I have a suggestion for a topic that I would ask you to consider doing a video on. I run on a Mac and I love iPhoto for how it integrates to the iPhone and to many mac applications. Please consider doing a video on integrating iPhoto with Lightroom. I know the video would only address part of your audience so I understand if you don’t want to go there.
Thank you for this. I always wondered what happened to those!
