I do not see how Viveza does anything more than LR TAT tool already does.
Especially for $250.

LR TAT keeps me out of CS3 and allows me to copy-paste tat based enhancements across many images.

Matt!
Glad to know you are getting in some quality quiet time for yourself. Hopefully, you have had a great weekend. Man, you are just on fire! As Sarah K would say, "you freaking rock!". Thanks for all of this information, and I cannot wait to dive into the new book!

Hi Matt
U Point technology is what has been in Nikon Capture NX since it was first released,(I think) and it is a great way of adjusting photos I have been using it for a couple of years now, but I also love Lightroom and photoshop so am pleased with the release of a U Point plug in (will it work with the New version of Lightroom???) Thanks for all the great tips, have got every one of them since day one.

Matt!
I just got Vivesa- Holy Cow! Have you played with this? I see allot of potential to make tons of very selective adjustments. The masks this program creates almost automatically are amazing. I'm psyched!
Have a great weekend!

Hey Matt,

Earlier in the week I went to the Kelby Training, ordered my copy of Layers Book and used my NAPP discount .

Good news - arrived today.

Bad news - somebody wrote their name on the very first page ! :)

(just kidding), thanks for signing.

Quick glance it looks great, can't wait to get into it.

I'm finding that no matter how much you think you know about PS you can always learn more and I expect to find is that I know less about layers than I realized once I start into your book.

Thanks for your efforts in teaching an old dog new tricks.

Mr. "Houski", Matt,

The Layers Book is Awesome. I got my signed copy yesterday and have plowed through a third of it watching the kids swim before leg 2 of our trek down I 75.

Keep up the great work - and have a great extended weekend! (leap year day off? - do it if you can)

Viveza looks interesting but I don't understand the 2 week special deal. It says the software isn't going to be released until April? Is it a 2 week special deal on placing a pre-order or something.

Matt: I just received your Layers book through Kelby Training and the downloaded images (at least in chapter 1) are very tiny, even at 100%, and are difficult to work with. Also, the relative sizes in the plate/menu collage don't seem to match up with the book. Perhaps I made an error of some kind. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.
