@Anna

Have a look at the 'Watched Folder' option in Lightroom.

I have a question for you. I hope it's okay that I posted it here, didn't see anywhere else to post it.

Is there a way to automatically reimport an exported jpg to lightroom? Say for example I want to export a jpg to flickr. I have it setup so I export it to my desktop and it automatically opens the photo up in my flickr uploader. I upload the photo but now I have the jpg on my desktop. I'd like to keep have that file in my lightroom library but now I have to reimport it into lightroom. Is there a way to export it and import it at the same time?

Thanks!

Skip – In Scott’s blog (Photoshop Insider), he mentioned that he will be answering questions he has received from readers of the “7-point system” book. Should be coming up this week or next. Here is what he wrote on Jan 4th:

“…next week I’m planning a “Seven-Point-System Q&A” based on the questions people are posting in here about the book, like how to use Smart Objects with Lightroom, and if “The System” is compatible with CS2, and Elements, and so on).”

Matt, it was good to see you guys at the Expo this week. And thanks again for suggestions on places to go shoot while in town.

Matt, how about a tutorial sometime on how do emulate the bridge "Open in PhotoShop as a Smart Object" method? Scott Kelby uses this method in his "7-point system" book (page 20), but I don't know of any way to do this in LightRoom.

That cake "studio" shot is hysterical! Can you imagine trying to color balance out that blue from the cell phone lights? Oh my... But really it's those shots of the "scene of action" that REALLY tell the story of the "perfect" studio shot!!!
